Last month it was reported that Dave Grohl, frontman of the Foo Fighters, jumped off a stage in Sweden and broke his leg (http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/12/entertainment/foo-fighters-dave-grohl-broken-leg-sweden/).  He continued the concert sitting in a chair.  The Foo Fighters have always been one of my favorite bands.  I have followed their full career.

By the x-ray posted to social media, it looks like Dave suffered an isolated fibula fracture (long bone in lower leg and ankle).  If these fracture can be reduced, they respond well to casting.  If not, it is then more of a surgical concern.
